I am your child's third grade classroom teacher.My name is Dana LaQuay-Butrym.Your child calls me Ms. LaQuay.This is my 15th year as a teacher.This is my 10th year teaching third grade in ASW.I now have students from 3rd to 12th grade at ASW.I have a B.S. in Elementary Education from Roberts Weselyan College.I'm a certified NY State Teacher.I have also earned my M.Ed. in Teaching English as a Foreign Language from Framingham State. Two years ago, I completed a Literacy Coaching Training and had the opportunity to begin coaching other teachers in teaching literacy. I have led workshops for teachers in International School of Stavanger, in Norway, student teachers in Warsaw University, teachers attending conferences at CEESA, and my colleagues here at ASW.

This is our ELL teacher! Her name is Lynn Hammond. Your child calls her Ms. Hammond. She helps teach writing in our class everyday. She also works with beginning ELL students during "Languages." This is her 6th year at ASW.She has been teaching for 30+ years!
